Abby Backpack

Every Abby is handmade by our artisans in our own youth empowerment workshop in Waltloo, Pretoria, using leather tanned right here in South Africa. It’s as practical as it is pretty: a large zipped front pocket, an easy access back pocket, a zipped vanity pocket and two inner pockets, plus a durable, wipeable lining that’s easy to keep clean. The premium YKK zips and sliders keep everything safely closed, and the twin adjustable leather backstraps make it easy to carry for everyday use, travel and day trips.

It’s real leather, so it comes with a bit of character. No two hides are the same, so your Abby might look a touch different from our photos, and it’ll darken and change a little the more you carry it. That’s just leather being leather. Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa. All orders are processed within 2 business days and shipped within 2-5 business days through South Africa’s top courier companies. Parcels arrive between 8am and 5pm, so a daytime address works best. We can’t deliver to PO boxes, but we can deliver to Pudo or other lockers for convenience (contact us for options).

Every Abby comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults, so if a zip or seam gives you any trouble, we’ve got you covered.

Local is lekker. Every Abby you buy supports a workshop that trains and employs young South African artisans.
