Every Ava is handmade by our artisans in our own youth empowerment workshop in Waltloo, Pretoria, using leather tanned right here in South Africa. The structured shape keeps it looking smart, and it’s roomier than it looks: two large inner patch pockets, an inside zipped vanity pocket and an easy access back pocket, all fully lined with premium cotton twill. The premium YKK zips and sliders keep everything safely closed, and you can carry it by the twin shoulder straps or wear it with the adjustable shoulder sling. There’s room for A4 documents and a tablet too.
It’s real leather, so it comes with a bit of character. No two hides are the same, so your Ava might look a touch different from our photos, and it’ll darken and change a little the more you carry it. That’s just leather being leather. Our Leather Care Guide has a few easy tips to keep it looking its best.
Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa. All orders are processed within 2 business days and shipped within 2-5 business days through South Africa’s top courier companies. Parcels arrive between 8am and 5pm, so a daytime address works best. We can’t deliver to PO boxes, but we can deliver to Pudo or other lockers for convenience (contact us for options).
Every Ava comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults, so if a zip or seam gives you any trouble, we’ve got you covered.
Local is lekker. Every Ava you buy supports a workshop that trains and employs young South African artisans.
