Every Charlie Satchel is handmade by our artisans in our own youth empowerment workshop in Waltloo, Pretoria, using leather tanned right here in South Africa. It’s compact but organised: a spacious main compartment and four zipped compartments, all fully lined with premium cotton twill. The premium YKK zips and sliders keep everything safely closed, and you can carry it by the leather handle or wear it crossbody with the adjustable sling. It’s a neat everyday bag for your phone, wallet, keys and the rest of the essentials.
It’s real leather, so it comes with a bit of character. No two hides are the same, so your Charlie Satchel might look a touch different from our photos, and it’ll darken and change a little the more you carry it. That’s just leather being leather. Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa. All orders are processed within 2 business days and shipped within 2-5 business days through South Africa’s top courier companies. Parcels arrive between 8am and 5pm, so a daytime address works best. We can’t deliver to PO boxes, but we can deliver to Pudo or other lockers for convenience (contact us for options).
Every Charlie Satchel comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults, so if a zip or seam gives you any trouble, we’ve got you covered.
